Really affordable High-End Loudspeaker Cable featuring Tube Conductors of 4 x 2.0 mm2 at such a price it is nothing less than a bargain.

By spinning a multi-strand layer on an insulating core, Supra has increased the conductor cross-section - resulting in inductance of a vanishingly low 0.28 mH/meter. (Inductance robs your system of high frequencies.) With high-grade polypropylene insulation and individually shielded conductors, Quadrax rejects noise as well as the most expensive speaker cables on the planet - at a fraction of their stratospheric prices. This is state-of-the-art performance - that the average guy can afford!

The tube conductor design means that 120 individually tin plated strands in a braid forms a tube around a PP plastic core. It forces the music signal to meet the same crossection area irrespective of frequency. The higher frequency, the further out in the conductor perimeter the law of physics forces the signal, hence resulting in unequal conductivity properties for the various frequencies.

If configured in a Star Quad conductor formation (single wire/full range) RFI pickup and outgoing magnetic fields (lowered inductance) are almost completely cancelled out, thanks to the symmetry of current in the opposite conductor pairs.

Finally the strand tin plating will counteract any current jumps tendencies between the strands thus creating a diode effect followed by corresponding phase shift.

In addition to the malignant inductance affecting any power transmissions with high current transients, we have also gained a lowered capacitance. The special PolyPropylene (PP) insulation and conductor core is chemically and physically extremely stable and features low capacitance.

Terminated with Supra Combicon, Solid Copper, 24K Gold Plated Crimped Body connector and either Spades or Banana pins to suit your requirements.

The CombiCon Crimp Body

24K Gold Plated Copper connector crimp body with a M6 thread, a contact part which can be either a BFA/Banana or a Fork and finally a sleeve to finish up the perfect joint.

The crimp body is as said, crimped on to the cable strands forming an air tight connection, a very delicate junction between cable and contact.
